Right off the bat I gonna say for me I have found no lasting cure to perfectionism, BUT I have found different ways to deal with it and use it as a strength. Something to realize is if you are a perfectionist when it comes to art then you most likely a perfectionist in just about everything else you do as well. So recognizing it and identifying it can be a big part of understanding how to work with your perfectionism. Sometimes being a perfectionist has actually kept me from finishing work simply because I want it to be the best it can be, but I realized I need to not care so much to the point where it keeps me from finishing all together. Learning to accept my mistakes and move forward has made waves in improving my bad relationship with perfectionism. Some things that helped me are:

- Drawing in a permanent medium like pen or marker

- Having a private sketchbook for myself

- Trying new ways of creating

- Pushing myself to draw on a regular basis

I know these are only a few small tips but if you are a perfectionist as well I hope you try some of these tips out. for me they have made major improvements in my creating process.
