Finding Time to Work Out and Create

Good physical health within the artist community I have found in my personal experience is something hard to come by let alone good mental health. For me I found working out to be quite helpful not only for my physical health but also my mental health. The trick is finding time for it, but that of course looks different for everyone. You really have to have good self discipline when keeping yourself true to working out, but how to you balance that when you have such a demanding career as being an artist?
Both are in a sense life styles so finding a balance to do both if you have the desire to is tricky. In my experience there is no perfect balance between the two. Usually one day you end up working out more than creating art and the next day the exact opposite. I work out 3 days a week but since working out can sometimes take some time I do two of my workouts Friday and Sunday and then one Wednesday that is shorter since I have classes and homework usually during the weekdays. I have been keeping myself true to working out for a little over 5 months now and I love having it be a part of my week.

It is possible! Just keep yourself true to it and stay dedicated to making it part of your week! Just find time and be diligent and thoughtful when trying to incorporate it into your day to day activities.
